Florida's Space Coast offers some of the best fishing in the country! Few places in the world offer the variety of species found here. From big bass and crappie on the St. Johns River to exciting billfish action offshore in the Atlantic, the Space Coast is hard to beat! Check out the web sites below for the latest fishing reports and tips on how to land your trophy. This is a list of saltwater species you are most likely to catch and the best time to catch them.
  DEEP- SEA
Year Round: dolphin, grouper, king mackerel, wahoo, blue and white marlin,
                     sailfish, tuna, snapper  
Spring: amberjack, crevalle jack
Summer: crevalle jack, red snapper, grouper, dolphin (fish)
  SURF
Year Round: channel bass, flounder, pompano, Spanish makerel, whiting
Spring: bluefish, snook, whiting, crevalle jack
Fall: redfish, bluefish, pompano, sea bass, snook
Winter: bluefish, pompano
  PIER
Year Round: flounder, king and Spanish mackerel, sheepshead, snapper, trout,
                     weakfish, whiting
Spring and Fall: bluefish, Spanish makerel
Late Summer/Early Fall: sea bass, tarpon
